Engine Vault Auto ships vehicles and auto parts worldwide from Canada. This policy explains how shipping works once your order is approved and paid.
Quotes & landed cost
Every quote is itemised so you can see the item price, shipping and an estimate of import duties for your destination before you pay. You can also preview an approximate landed cost in your own currency using the calculator on each vehicle and part page. Estimated duties and taxes are guidance only — final amounts are set by your country's customs authority.
Processing time
Parts are typically prepared for dispatch within 2–5 business days of payment. Vehicles require additional time for documentation, inspection and export preparation, typically 5–15 business days before hand-off to the carrier. We'll confirm timelines on your specific order.
Carriers & methods
- Parts & smaller items — shipped by trusted international courier or air freight.
- Vehicles — shipped by road, container or roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) ocean freight, depending on destination and vehicle type.
Delivery estimates
Transit times vary by region and method. As a general guide once dispatched: North America 2–10 days; UK & Europe 1–4 weeks; Africa, the Middle East and Asia 2–6 weeks; vehicles by ocean freight 3–8 weeks. These are estimates, not guarantees, and exclude time held in customs.
Tracking
Every shipment is assigned a tracking code and is visible from your order page and the Track a Shipment page, with status updates at each milestone through to delivery.
Duties, taxes & customs
Unless your quote explicitly states "duties included" (DDP), import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees are the buyer's responsibility and are payable to the relevant authority or carrier on arrival. You are responsible for ensuring the item may be lawfully imported into your country and for providing any documentation customs requires.
Delays
We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs inspections, strikes or other events beyond our control. We will always help you follow up with the carrier.
Damaged or lost shipments
Inspect your shipment on arrival. If an item arrives damaged or a shipment is lost in transit, contact us within 48 hours with photos and your order reference so we can open a claim with the carrier or insurer.
