Returns & Warranty

We want you to buy with confidence. Because we ship internationally and many items are sourced or used, returns are handled differently for vehicles and parts. Please read this before you approve a quote.

Vehicles

  • Condition disclosure — each vehicle is described as accurately as possible, with photos, specifications and, where available, VIN and history details. We encourage you to review the VIN and request any additional photos or a pre-purchase inspection before approving.
  • Sold as described — used vehicles are sold on an "as-described, as-inspected" basis. Once a vehicle has been dispatched for export, the sale is generally final and not eligible for return.
  • Misdescription — if a delivered vehicle materially differs from its written description, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order reference and we will work with you in good faith to resolve it.

Parts

  • Return window — unused, uninstalled parts in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Contact us first for a return authorisation.
  • Restocking & shipping — buyer-remorse returns may be subject to a restocking fee, and the buyer pays return shipping and any duties already incurred.
  • Defective or incorrect parts — if a part arrives defective, or we shipped the wrong item, we'll replace it or refund it (including return shipping) once verified. Report within 7 days of delivery with photos.
  • Non-returnable — electrical parts, special-order items, and parts that have been installed or modified cannot be returned unless defective.

Warranty

  • New parts — where a manufacturer warranty applies, it passes through to you; we'll provide the details on request.
  • Used vehicles & parts — sold without warranty unless a specific warranty is stated in writing on your quote or invoice.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected. Original outbound shipping and any duties/taxes already paid are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

How to start a return or claim

Email sales@enginevaultautoparts.ca with your order reference, photos and a short description. Do not ship anything back until you receive a return authorisation.
