Valve Stems

Description

Schrader invented the modern automotive tire valve over a century ago and remains the leading supplier of valve stems, the small rubber or metal component that seals the wheel's air-fill hole and houses the valve core allowing inflation and pressure checks. Standard passenger-car stems are molded rubber (snap-in) units rated for lower pressures and speeds, while metal clamp-in stems are used on higher-pressure, higher-speed, or TPMS-equipped applications for greater durability and heat resistance.
