TPMS Sensors

Description
Schrader, now part of Sensata Technologies, is the leading global supplier of direct tire-pressure-monitoring-system (TPMS) sensors, valves, and related hardware, building on its century-long history as the inventor of the modern tire valve. A direct TPMS sensor mounts inside the wheel on the valve stem or a wheel-well band, measuring actual air pressure and temperature and transmitting the data via a low-power RF signal (typically 315MHz in North America, 433MHz in Europe) to the vehicle's receiver module; sensors run on a small internal battery with a typical service life of 7–10 years.
Fits / compatible with
- OEM and aftermarket sensors covering the large majority of TPMS-equipped vehicles sold in North America and Europe since TPMS became mandatory (2007-08 in the U.S.); frequency (315MHz/433MHz) and protocol are vehicle-specific.
