Run-Flat Tires

Description
Bridgestone's DriveGuard line is a run-flat tire designed to let a driver continue safely for up to 50 miles at a maximum of 50 mph after a puncture, using a reinforced sidewall (Bridgestone's Cooling Fin Technology and reinforced casing) that supports the vehicle's weight even at zero air pressure. Run-flat tires require a compatible TPMS system (since the tire won't visibly sag when flat) and, on many vehicles, specific run-flat-rated wheels; several German automakers specify vehicle-model-specific run-flat tires from Bridgestone, Michelin, Pirelli, or Continental as original equipment
Fits / compatible with
- Aftermarket run-flat replacement fitting many vehicles not originally equipped with run-flats
- as well as OE run-flat fitment on several BMW
- Mini
- and Mercedes-Benz models (which typically use vehicle-specific run-flat tires from multiple brands).
