Beadlock Rings (Off-Road Wheels)

Description

Hutchinson is a French manufacturer with deep roots in military and motorsport beadlock tire technology, mechanically clamping the tire bead to the wheel using a bolted outer ring rather than relying solely on air pressure, which allows the tire to be run at very low pressures off-road without the bead unseating from the rim. This is used heavily in desert racing, rock crawling, and military applications where low tire pressure improves traction and ride compliance over rough terrain, at the cost of added wheel weight and a more involved tire-mounting process
